I Have A Methylmalonic Acid Level Of 11 (apparently Normal

I have a methylmalonic acid level of 11 (apparently normal is anything up to 0.25) and a confirmed heterozygous mutation in one of my 2 copies of the MMAA gene. I am currently receiving very iffy advice about treatment. I have been having b12 injections daily for the last week or so and am feeling a bit better but my doctor seems uncertain whether to continue these. I have had no advice about diet or supplementation although I have read that carnitine and a low protein diet are key in treating his condition. I am 32 years old and fell ill when I was 25. The MMA was only discovered last year. Is there anyone I can contact to receive proper advice?
