I have a grade 2 calf tear that I wrapped too tight the first 2-3 days. The bruising that resulted from this tear flowed down to my ankle and seeped to the front of leg so the shin has a bruise too. The ultrasound showed no DVT. The achilles is fine, no problem. When i try to rest at night, the bruised areas sting for like 20 minutes, I have to keep any bruised area still or else they burn and sting. Is that normal? Did i do nerve damage? Family doctor has me on Medrol 4mg dose pak and Tylenol.
