I have a area about 5 inches in diameter on my inner thigh which is sensitive to the touch but is also periodically feels like there is an electric shock/exposed nerves sensation. I have lower back problems but haven't had this experience before. My daughter has had it numerous times around her trunk area and is usually treated for singles but there is never any evidence of shingles. She also suffers from migraines. I have arthritis and degenerative disc disease in bottom four discs. I had had periodic "electric shock" sensations in the same area on my left left but it is a jolt and done. This has lasted all day with less severity but similar in nature.
