I Have A PIAA, Ie, Total Colostomy With A "pouch"

I have a PIAA, ie, total colostomy with a "pouch" and normal bowel elimination. I am experiencing very short times between elimination and massive irritation of my spinkter and pouch. The irritation is due to sometimes excessive quantities of digestive acid which i am assuming comes from an overactive pancreas. Is there a relationship between an overactive pancreas and pancreatic cancer. The thought of pancreatic cancer is on my mind since my father died of that 55 years ago. I have had the PIAA for almost 15 years and I used to have 3 to 6 hours between elimination depending on how much I ate.
