I have a Hx of mitral valve prolapse with trace regurg, LBBB on exercise stress test x last few years, negative cardiac cath, but had a LBBB during dye procedure, always abnormal EKG, EF 64%, no Hx MI.
Recently had a nuclear stress test (SPECT procedure) with the following conclusion: "There is a small mid to distal reversible anteroseptal defect of mild intensity most consistent with ischemia. However, it could be secondary to shifting breast attenuation artifact." Now, a cardiac cath has been recommended again. I am hesitant to go through it again. Please advise.
