I have Medicaid through Sunshine and I went to my OB/GYN, and she told me I tested positive for Chlamydia. My partner also has it, she says, since I'm pregnant with his child. But we can't get him in to a doctor to get tested for it and get the medication. We only have $30 which could buy us the Azithromycin at the pharmacy, but we need a prescription filled out to get it. Whether or not my doctor will fill another out isn't my question. My question is, would I have to pay out of pocket for her to write that second prescription, since my personal Medicaid doesn't cover him?
