I have ESSENTIAL THROMBOCYTHEMIA AND JAK2. My platelets were in the 500 but jumped to 606 a couple of weeks ago, then 632 (Hydroxyurea 3 times a week) the following week, then 723 last Wed. I am as of yesterday taking Hydroxyurea 500 MG one tablet 7 days a week and one extra making it 8 in one week. I read so many things and am confused. Why the increase so quickly?
I read that hair dye should not be used on my hair. Is that a factor?
