I have 2 nodules on my thyroid and one of them I have to have biopsy . I also have marble size nodule 1 inch from Adams apple. My doctor thinks I have hypothyroidism even though all blood tests show normal. After doing a hypothyroidism diet ( no gluten) the nodule on my throat has shrank to half the size. I went to ENT and he said nothing wrong with thyroid even though both sides of thyroid enlarged. One nodule (inside glands) are .6 cm and the other is 1.5 cm. Most of my hair has fallen out, and I feel bad all the time. Going to start the Keto diet by Dr don't Colbert surely this will help. I have some symptoms of hypothyroidism, maybe half. Please can you help me or tell me anything that could help me. Biospy will be done 1-2 weeks and another 1-2 weeks for results. A month or more to find out anything ,so frustrating. Thank you for your time , I appreciate anything you can tell me . Again, thank you, I know your time is precious.

Hi, I am a 62 yr. old Blk. female. On May, 2012. I fell down 8 steps in my apt., while at ER, it was discovered that I have nodules on my thyroid. Since that time I haven t received anby treatments, x-ray, scans etc. I am waiting for an appt. to be seen. Is this long wait okay to see a specialist?. My male cousin was also diagnosed with the same condition & he is waiting to have his thyroid removed. What should be my immediate concerns?. My MD. advised me not to worry, but since that time, my hair is falling out, I dont sleep, obese, & I am also depressed.Thank You.
