I Had Surgery On Dec. 3, 2015 To Remove Extra

I had surgery on Dec. 3, 2015 to remove extra & uneven surgery from prior mastectomies. Both previous surgeries used muscle from my back to help rebuild breast. Therefore during this surgery I was cut from right at my spine around to my breast on both sides. I have had problems with fluid collecting. I have had it removed twice & going again tomorrow. My question is I am swollen on my left side under my rib cage, it pokes out approx. an inch more than my right side. There is pain with it. I have also had sharp pains around my heart at times. Could fluid cause this? Or could it be another underlying issue?
