I Had Laser Cataract Surgery (toric Lens) 18 Days Ago

I had laser cataract surgery (toric lens) 18 days ago in my left eye. I noticed a flickering light occasionally afterwards. 3 days ago I had laser cataract surgery (standard lens) in my right eye - and now I really notice that flickering light. Assuming it is scintillating dysphotopsia. I understand that the brain gradually learns to ignore this - but am wondering how long it takes - and, if it doesn't, when should I go back to see the surgeon?
