I had friends urging me to call my doctor. My grief over the death of my only daughter -aged 29- last December is over whelming. I feel crushed. I am a widow who raised 2 children after my husband's passing. I thought I was strong but my daughter's death is too much to bear. Friends came to my home this a.m. and urged me to call my doctor for an appointment. I have one in two weeks but in the meantime, I am prescribed Lexipro(?) I will pick it up tomorrow... my question -what is this drug? Does it have side effects? Thank You
