I had cerebral vasculitis 20 years ago and was on very high doses of prednisone for years but in 4 months I went from 110 pounds to 220. I was diagnosed with beginning stages of heart failure a year ago. I tried the Purim lifestyle change today and started experiencing dizziness, chest tightness and discomfort radiating down my left arm. I also felt lightheaded and got short lasting headaches through the day. I ended up eating whole grain pasta with a little spinach and garlic and felt better. I am on furosimide ,verapamil and benazepril . Any Advice?
