I had a sinus infection was put on Septa DS, I also had ring worm under my left arm pit, was to use Lotrimin over the counter creme which I was doing, the 2nd day began to start itching real bad on the left elbow, then 2 days later it was spreading I thought it was the ring worm. To make it short I used all the septa and I had and is having a bad reaction to the medicine, I am head to toe with hives, redness, itching worse than when I had chicken picks. Yesterday I saw my Rhumatologist and showed her the rash was put on prednisone starting with 40 every day for a week than taper down. I have also been using Benadryl orally, benadryl creme and cortisone creme, I went in today to see if I can get a stronger prescription creme, I can use the other crimes with the Lidocaine creme I was given, was not to use a lot at once, I'm still having a lot of symptoms so strongly I'm shaking so bad , is there anything I should be aware of that I should know that I might have to go in to the emergency room? I'm also using cold packs to help with the inflammation, heat and redness.
