I had a miscarriage Saturday night, well I was bleeding a week before that and then Saturday afternoon cramps slowly started and gradually got heavier. The bleeding all of a sudden got super heavy to the point where I just stayed in the bathroom for 4 hours because along with nonstop blood there was also clots falling out continuously.
I eventually decided to go to emerg because I was getting dizzy and nothing was slowing down.
Everything was still heavy and coming out until around 1am when they got around to helping me. They took out the rest of the clots they could see, and said they removed one that had been blocking the opening of the cervix. Then that was that,so I questioned the blood loss. They told me my hemoglobin levels were perfect, and that doesnt make much sense because a telephone nurse said if more than 2 pads an hour are soaked to seek medical attention. If I attempted to Leave the toilet I could have soaked 10 pads in 5 minutes.
Its now 2 days later and ever since the bleeding is resembling menstruation which is fine, but every single time I stand up I get dizzy and my body feels week. Walking around my apartment makes me get light headed. Everything's fine when I set but as soon as I get up I feel so weak and the severity of the being dizzy fluctuates each time but doesnt go away.
I took today off work and have had no improvement so I'm guessing I'll have to take tomorrow off too. Are these symptoms normal to expect after miscarriage? I just don't feel right, but then again I've never experienced a miscarriage and hope to never again.
