I took a fall today onto some concrete steps. I have a really bad pain on top of my left foot, raidiating down the outside of my foot to the very bottom. I can t put weight on it. I have had an xray that indicates there are no broken bones. This is exact place I broke my foot years ago, This is extremely painful Can the xray or interpretation of the xray possibly be wrong? I am 58 yrs. old. I have an air cast.

Thank you for you expertise and time. I feel on my left side onto a rough concrete broad step two and 1/2 weeks ago. I knew I would have a giant bruise, but had NO IDEA how giant it would end up being. Instantly, my entire left hip area turned black and blue. The pain is still quite noticeable and I now have 3 very tender rock-like bumps right on what I think is my hip bone. Could this be something more than a large hematoma? Should I make an appointment to see an orthopedist, to get their opinion or should I just try and tough it out for a much longer period of time? I m not able to sleep on my left side at all and after sitting at the computer, reading a book, or enjoying a beautiful sunset, I have even more pain upon rising. Thanks for any help you can give me.
