I begin with my head feeling like it is filling up and it starts draining down my throat which starts a dry hacky cough. Once I begin to cough it is very hard to stop and sometimes I cough until I vomit. At the same time that all of this is going on, I begin to feel itchy from my chin down the front of my neck and also down the middle of my back. There doesn't seem to be anything in particular that brings the episodes on. I have a nebulizer machine and have taken a treatment with albuterol but it is not relieving the coughing. I also have an inhaler of Ventolin HFA although no diagnosis has been given for my condition. I have had a pulmonary function test and am scheduled for a cat scan with & without contrast on my lungs. Chest xray shows two small lesions in the right lung. I don't understand how my full head & post nasal drip could be connected to the lesions. My Oxymeter reads a consistent 94. I have been having these episodes for the last six months at least twice a month.
