I am taking generic cvs acetaminophen/diphenhydromine for sleep and pain from a torn rotator cuff . The diphenhydromine is 25mg. Can i become dependent on this to sleep and since I am 77 years old and have PAD and peripheral nueropathy along with heart problems. Should I wean myself off of this and just take acetaminophen for the rotator problem and let the sleep problem take care of itself?
