I am taking Lasix every day. I have chronic bronchial asthma. I have noticed that, even though the swelling in my legs has gone down quite a bit, when I press a finger onto the lower part of either leg, the indent stays there for about a minute. What does that mean?

Is it safe to take lasix with Gleevec? I have AML in remission but continue with my Gleevec medication. I am currently prescribed Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg one per day but it is not helping with the fluid retention being caused by the Gleevec. It is in fact doing nothing. Is Lasix better? I have a creatine level of 112 umol/L and a eGFR level of 43 which is low. Thank you

I was given lasix for edema in legs and abdomen, but I am reading side effects and my anxiety is high now. I am currently on Hydrochlorthiazide, Citalopram, Spironalactone, and metformin. I was told to not take the citalopram for the 5 days I am on the lasix but continue to take the spironalactone. I guess I need reassurance as to what could happen to me while taking this drug for the first time.
