I am a twenty year old female attending college in Pennsylvania. I don't have any prior history of chronic illnesses or disease. I cannot sleep because my throat is so scratchy that i keep waking up to cough. These symptoms are accompanied by red sore - like manifestations at the very back of my throat (behind my uvula) and a fowl taste in the back of my mouth when swallowing. I seem to produce a lot of phlegm when coughing/swallowing as well. In the past I have had yeast infections in my throat that have produced white papules on my tonsils, but this is not like that, these are red bumps in the very back of my throat. Should I see a doctor immediately? or wait until my appointment on Tuesday
