I am a partially retired 63 yr old man. I work part-time in accounting, paying invoices. I was sitting at my desk yesterday, when I suddenly and slowly starting losing my vision. Then my eyes seemed to flush and my vision was back, but I was extremely fatigued. I do have macular edema in my left eye, however, both eyes were affected by this episode.

Hi. I m a 63 years old healthy man, what should my blood pressure range be before I have to take medicine? My average at home is 117/76 66. When I go to the doctor it gets quite high, so he want me to take pills in case. I m scared it might go to low or cause other problems. I am 5`10 160 pounds. Never been sick. No chest pain or kidney problems. I feel good, sleep well and exercise moderately.

I am a 63 year old male and had been in excellent health. I workout 4 to 5 times a week for approximately 75 to 80 minutes which used to include 30 minutes of intense aerobic exercise. In the last 6 months I have experienced shortness of breath doing everything from a simple walk up a flight of stairs to my exercise routine being severely curtailed because I cannot get enough oxygen to feed my muscles. After five minutes I have labored breathing. I have also become borderline anemic and my mouth is always dry. While not overly pronounced, I feel a dull pressure in what I would say is my upper right chest area, perhaps lung. I have had a stress echocardiogram and my heart is fine.
