I Am A Nurse And My Son And I Have

I am a nurse and my son and I have had scabies now for 4 months. Misdiagnosed as eczema, then for me bed bugs- finally had formal biopsy as scabies. I have done multiple permethrin 5% creams over our bodies and the same in a hair formula- probably at least 10x- We are half way thru our 2nd round of oral Ivermectin done once then at 15 days- started our 2nd round 7 days after our 15 days as we saw new bites and burrows. Our mattresses have been wrapped in plastic and wiped down with detol each day. I dry our bedding at a commercial dryer for 25 minutes each day and wash our clothes on hot at home or wrap in plastic for a week. I vacuum every day- mainly hard wood floors. We seem to get initial itching relief each time we do the cream or oral meds- even started to try to do them together thinking would finally kill all the mites- no new bites or burrows for 24-72 hours after each treatment, but then they always come back. I can't understand what more I could be doing to prevent re-infection and I am wondering if I just never kill them all. I attempted to see a dermatologist to see if I could get any other suggestions, but cannot get an apt for 6 months. Are there any other treatment options besides Invermectin and permethrin cream.
