I am a female age 61 & have had pericarditis for 4 months now due to a procedure to burn my afibs from within, causing my pericardom to become inflamed resulting in pericarditis, it will not go away with treatment & if not on the meds it re occurs within a couple of days. I am concerned that my heart may be damaged from having it for such a long period of time. Also I am concerned from being on the medications for long periods of time.
