I Am A 74 Year Old Male, Slim 195 Lbs.,

I am a 74 year old male, slim 195 lbs., who stays active. I have high blood pressure, and an irregular heart problem and two small stints which were placed in me after a detailed hospital evaluation some 14 years ago. I never have had any of the traditional stroke or heart symptoms 14 years ago or throughout the years since that time. I have been on medication for treatment of both matters for 14 years. I recently had a basic hospital treadmill stress test before a scheduled oral surgery and the heart specialist who reviewed the test results right after the test found the irregular heart problem. He classified the test as abnormal. I had no pain or unusual symptoms right after the treadmill test up or to this present time. My oral surgery was successful and I had no reported heart surgery issues. At this point I don’t see the need for other more complicated and difficult tests. Do you think it is necessary for me to have more complicated, difficult, and expensive tests at this point? I know this is a somewhat complicated question, but thanks for your help!
