Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 68 year old women with sprengel deformity I have been fortunate because it has never been a major issue until the last six -eight years I started noticing that I was loosing some of my arm function It started with not being to lift my right arm up to get something out of the cupboard I also had to prop my shoulders on the back of a chair to keep my arms up to do my hair. I had to bend over to wash my hair in the shower. It started in the right arm/shoulder and progressed to the left side. I have no strength in my arms when they are out stretched A Rehabilitation therapist told me I would have to get used to living my life from the waist down I can't seem to find anyone who has any knowledge of this . I have a 49 year old daughter and a 24 year old granddaughter who have the same problem We would appreciate any advise or assistance you could give us
