I am a 59 year old White male who is disabled. I am currently not on any kind of medication. I stopped smoking at he end of 2012, and I don't drink anything except water and coffee. I am on the Nutrisystem diet and I am heavy. I am 5 ft. 11 inches and weigh 218 lbs. I ate some salty boiled eggs 2 days ago and I have been feeling bad ever since. I feel like my insides are pressured up, but my BP isn't very high, 130 over 82 on the low side and I have seen it 140 over 85 in the last day or two. My question is: how long does it take for salt to flush from your system? I drink probably 3/4 to 1 gallon of water a day. This all came on suddenly, so how concerned do I need to be?
