I am a 57 year old male with CHF (6 heart attacks in 7 years), I have also had 1 PE (left lung) and 2 FemPops (past Dec had by-pass surgery of the femeral). I have also been diaganosed as being Anemic. I have moderate to sever rectal bleeding (bright red) and a couple of months ago my hemoglobin dropped to 4.6. I went to the hospital and was given 2 blood transfusions and 1 iron one. After a week, a upper & lower gi (I have had 6 of these in 3 years) and also swolling the camera, they found no cause of my rectal bleeding. I have noticed within the last couple of weeks my intense bleeding is back and I am feeling weak, tired, clamy, cold and have no energy. I have a Pasemaker/ICD implant, but it has not fired lately. Should I go back to the ER again and get told the same thing? Thank you, Robert BEnson
