I Am A 56 Year Old Male. Never Have Never

I am a 56 year old male. Never have never developed a UTI infection in my entire life. In August of this year. I had painful urination with puss from my urethra. An ER doc prescribed upon my suggestion (I am a pharmacist) Cipro 500 BID for 5 days. It cleared up most of my painful symptoms but my problem never went away. I do not have pain now (actually a little) . Urine is cloudy and has the smell of fish and at the end of a void much gas literally explodes from my penis. I was hospitalized I in 2008 for diverticulosis. I do not think that I have a fistula from colon to bladder but that is possible as specks of reddish brown particles escape upon voiding. But not always...random. Can you help?
