I am a 49 year old woman, taking 150 mg. of Effexor daily and have been for 18 months. That's the only medication, aside from birth control pills and daily vitamins.
Recently, I have developed severe dizziness, hot flashes, sweating, nausea then vomiting immediately. This has happened 6 times. I feel some pain in my joints and back/shoulder blades.
My upper abdomen feels tight (like my bra is too tight).
I feel very fatigued after throwing up, like I can't life my arms - my arms and head feel very heavy.
I often get a headache afterward and am very lethargic and sleepy.
What could this be?
