I am 75 female with no heart problem history. My normal heart rate resting is around 65. Today my heart is pounding and even at rest it is 88-97. Now after just a small exertion it is 101 and I feel very badly, not flu just no energy and slightly nauseous. I need to tell you my husband died just 3 months ago after a long 2 year illness. I have been recovering from deep fatigue and am doing well, growing stronger every day.
