Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 66 years old. I have a rectocele and vaginal prolapse. I also have a history of DVTs and a PE 3 years ago. I wanted to have this prolapse repaired but the physician is hesitant due to my DVT. She gave me a pessary (sp). I only used it once when she put it in. It was very uncomfortable and was very hard to remove. I don't want to use it if I don't have to. Any ideas?
