I am 61 years old. Height 5'2" Weight 120...MY ENT diagnosed me with Eustachian Tube Blockage a month ago in my right ear. I was having ringing in my ear. He put me on Nasonex, a 24 hour antihistamine, and an oral steroid for 8 days. My ear is still ringing...some days worse than others but it has gotten a bit better for the most part. As of today, my left ear started ringing. Is this normal to have ringing in both ears if you have ETD? How does he know I have ETD if he didn't do any tests on me? I have had sinus/allergy problems since I was an adult. In 2010 I had a septoplasty/rhinoplasty procedure which did help my BAD sinus headaches. Could my nose surgery from 2010 be affecting my Eustachian tubes in a bad way five years later?
