I am 56 yr old female. I found small nodules (pea size) at left upper trapezius muscle, right above the clavicle area. It feels like ganglion cyst. Low grade discomfort/pain upon pressure. However it seems like a very unusual location, not at any joints. I was wondering if lymph nodes swell, would you feel it deeper in the neck muscle? I would like to know how to differentiate if this is lymph node swelling verses ganglion cyst. Thank you.
