I I live in Belize and I haven't been feeling well and I went to get blood work done. Tests on serology shows that I have S. Thyphi H ....1:160. And S. Thyphi O.....1:160. How serious is that. I also feel tired and headachy with some tightness to my neck, light headed, even losing my balance at times. I've also felt like stressed or anxious, with insomnia. My blood pressure has at times been 140/87 or so, but not all the time. Some constipation yesterday. I feel hot but no chills. Dr. Gave me Ciprofloxacin medication for 7 days. I'm afraid to take that medication cause in the past I felt it was affecting my calves and bottom of my feet. Is there something else I can take. Also the dr. That saw me was actually a heart dr. Cause I was there with my husband about a different health issue with him. But I was telling him about my symptoms and he asked me to come in the next day to do blood work. He also did an EKG and it was Ok, although I have occasional palpitations, which could be due to my results showing I have high cholesterol, which he put me on pravastatin..40mg . Also gave me alprazolam .25mg before bedtime. Should I go get a second opinion and what kind of Dr. Should I see.
