I HAVE A KIDNEY STONE AND A STINT IN PLACE

I HAVE A KIDNEY STONE AND A STINT IN PLACE NOW AND THE DOCTORE WANTS TO DO A Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy or Percutaneous Nephrolithotripsy, WHICH FROM WHAT MY DOCTOR SAYS THEY PUT A TUBE IN YOUR BACK TO DRAIN THE URINE AND THEN ONE IN THE LOWER KIDNEY AND ONE IN THE TOP OF THE KIDNEY AND REMOVE THE STONE THAT WAY. WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS DO THEY TAKE ALL THE TUBES OUT OR DO YOU LIVE WITH THE ONE IN YOUR BACK AND A CATHETER THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?
