How To Wean Off Opiates Slowly?

I have been on various pain meds over the past 5 years for spinal deterioration, just am 3 weeks out from C34567 fusion and need/want to be done with the opiates. I tapered down to MS 15 mg /day for 4 days, and last took any 2 days ago. the withdrawal is severe. wWhat can I do and how long will I need to suffer.

Hi,

If withdrawal symptoms come, increase the dose to previous dose and titrate more slowly. Moreover, taper is gradual i.e., in every 4 days, taper should only be 25%. If still withdrawal comes then again follow the above rule. Join online 'Art of Living' optimising energy course, it is exclusively for pain or OMBW, via unknown mechanism it has benefited millions.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
