Hi.. Can understand your concern.. As per your complain when you have a broken tooth with severe pain the nerves have got exposed leading to irritation of nerve over slight stimulation even with a gush of air leading to severe pain.. Due to exposure to the oral cavity the nerves are getting inflamed leading to severe pain.. Orajel and ibuprofen can give relief in case of pain but when the nerves are exposed irritation will cause pain even after taking painkiller.. You will have to get the treatment of the tooth done by Root canal treatment or extraction followed by antibiotics and painkillers for permanent relief.. For now you can take Tramadol or ketorol DT(ketorol DT should be dissolved in half a glass of water) for relief.. Avoid very cold or very hot food to avoid discomfort.. Hope this information helps..
