ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, it can happen sometimes to adults too. Nothing serious the disintegrated capsule releases chemicals which reacts to the local mucosa causing chemical burns to the tissue.
Try to Take mucoanaesthetic agents gargle and swallow slowly May be helpful. Liquid diet helps. if it persists for 》24 hrs meet Gastro enterologist for advice. Most of the time it settles down. Take care
