How To Treat The Unhealed Wound On The Leg That Happened 70 Years Ago?

good morning doctor I am 80 year old I met with a motor accident in boy hood crushing my rt leg it has an unhealed wound 10 year old a tip of a bone visible in the wound no pain what medication u suggest dressing is carried daily after cleaning the wound with saline covered with sterile gause

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having chronic osteomyelitis giving trouble since long.
Now it seems that there is formation of sequestrum protruding through wound.
Do not take it easy and consult orthopedic surgeon and some vigorous treatment and some surgical procedure requires.
Simple dressing is not going to help.
Ok and take care.
