How To Treat The Small, Lightly Colored Mole In The Face ?

Hello. I have a small, lightly colored mole in my face that became sore one day about two weeks ago. It felt like maybe there was a pimple beside or under the mole, so I tried squeezing it. Since then the mole has been enlarged to nearly dime-sized and very sore. It is gradually getting less sore and irritated, but is still very large. I am new to my town and don t have a doctor that I trust to go to yet. Wondering of I can avoid it for now?

Hi,

The mole is benign and harmless skin lesion. Do not squeeze or rupture. It may be kept untreated. If you are embarrassed, then you may go for surgical excision or electrocautery under local anaesthesia. For that consult the dermatologist...ok.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
