How To Treat The Pain And Discomfort Of The Vocal Chords?

Hi, I am 35 years old, female, height 4.11 ft, weight 49 kgs, with 2 kids aged 9 and 4. I have been experiencing pain & discomfort in my vocal chords and while talking. I'm unable to read aloud to my younger kid ( not more than a page) or talk on the phone. I have been stressed about my kid's exams and have been talking more than normal to teach him. What can I do to treat this?

Hello, and congratulation for your kids.
There are a lot of medicines for this problem, anyway you are not going to use any of tham.
It is the same thing when you do a run for a long time, your will have pain in your muscles, what you do for that? You Rest. Same thing you have to do for your vocal cords, Rest. Do not talk a lot, or at least do not talk laud for a week.
Some time there are GERD that cause this kind of problem, so if the problem persist you should see an ENT doctor.
Wish you all the best....
