How To Treat Swollen Foot Caused After An Injury?

I passed out earlier and my one knee went down on the floor, then the other leg bent sideways behind me. My foot ended up being pulled up from the outer side of the foot. I cannot walk on my foot (left) foot. I is swollen from the end of my second toe and 2/3 of the way up in the top middle of my foot. I have iced it but not sure if there is anything that can be done, Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to fracture.

For further assessment you may require x ray foot after orthopedic surgeon consultation consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Restrict movement.

Use support while walking

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
