How To Treat Sore Throat With Swollen Lymph Nodes?

I have had a sore throat for over a week now.My lymph nodes are swollen and I have alot of very thick mucus that's hard to get up.My throat is not terribly sore except for after I go to sleep I have to wake up often and get a drink because my mouth/throat is SO dry that I can't swallow at all.I haven't had any fever this whole time and No white spots on my throat.Please help!

The throat infection can be because of the bacterial infection. Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like azithromycin(if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling.
