I am a very active, fit 40 year old male. I am having some shoulder pain on the back rear part of my shoulder. When I am just sitting here, there is no pain at all. When I bench press, it hurts. However, as I get warmed up, it does hurt less. I am the head wrestling coach at the high school that I teach at, and I asked our trainer what he thought it might be. He mentioned some possible inflammation around the rotator cuff area and told me to take ibuprophen for a week or so to try to get the inflammation down. I did this with no success. Any thoughts?
