How To Treat Severe Pain In Leg Along With Bruise And Lump Caused After Injury?
Hello, about a month ago I was moving into new apartment on the third floor. As I was loading the truck a metal bed frame fell and crashed on my calf. This caused a lot of pain but I was able to still help move everything to the apartment. Two weeks after my injury I went into the ER because the pain was not going away and painful to touch. I was told it was a contusion. Now a Month later my leg pain has improved but still bothersome, bruise seems lighter not much difference and there is a hard lump where the main point of contact was.
The hard lump could be an organised haematoma. It is wise to get an Xray done to look for a missed fracture or other bony lesions. Ice the region. Keep the limb elevated and avoid complete weight bearing.
