I have intense headaches (IB prof does not help) starting at the base of my neck and it feel like a hand going up and gripping the top of my head. I get lightheaded (sometimes to a point where I have to sit down) if I get up or move too fast. And I feel tired ALL THE TIME.
It will shows any papillodeama that suggest raise in interracial tension. MRI brain will helpful to rule out any pressure producing lesion or space occupying lesions.
Physical examination including blood pressure are also helpful to find out proper reasons. Hypertension is main cause of headache. So go for physician consultation for diagnosis.
If all report come normal then we have to think about migraine associated with tension type headache. It can be treated with medicines like amitryptiline etc.
