Hi and thank you ahead of time. My brother had a heart pump LVAD put in almost a year ago, since then he has been suffering from CHF and has been in and out of the hospital numerous times. Recently his Congestive Heart Failure has gotten so bad they put in a drain so that he could drain it at home... Yesterday 1 day after getting home from the hospital he was complaining again about not being able to breath-- a cardiac nurse came today to drain his lungs and he is still complaining about not being able to breath--His oxygen has been moved up from 2 to 3 and still does not help. The Doctor said dont bring him back to the hospital because we have done everything possible that we can to for him... I wanted another opinion or maybe some alternitive ideas... In the worst case what can we do to get him to breath comfortably?
