How To Treat Right-sided Facial Numbness While Treating Atypical Migraines?

My daughter has been diagnosed with A typical migraines. She says she wakes up feeling paralyzed almost everyday. She has numbness and tingling constantly down her right side, we have been in the ER several times and no conclusive diagnosis. She has been taking some migraine meds that the dr prescribed but they are not helping. Is there anything we are missing here?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I believe she may need to do an MRI of the brain to check for possible lesions of brain. Also, she can consult a neurologist about migraine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
