General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
A high fever for more than 5 days needs hospital admission and thorough evaluation of the same. She may need to have blood tests, urine tests and culture tests to see what is going on and to identify the infection. During the next spike of fever, kindly take her to the ER. Nothing to worry if treated on time.

Regards
Dr. Jeffrey
