How To Treat Occasional Heart Palpitations, low BP And Cholesterol?

I m having occasional heart palpitations. I am a 63 white female with no other health concerns. Low BP, low cholesterol and glucose. Not over weight. The palpitations come on with no warning and began occurring a week ago. It feels as though my chest is a galloping horse and then comes to a halt. I can be resting in bed or sitting in a meeting or walking the dogs. Any thoughts please?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello ma'am
thanks for your question and detailed medical history
sudden onset palpitations at rest needs to be evaluated thoroughly by a cardiologist
it could be due to a heart problem or low sugar
i would like further information to guide you better like
Your blood pressure recording
History of sweating or chest pain

in my opinion you must consult a cardiologist immediately for examination and investigation like ECG stress test and blood Profile like as hemoglobin blood sugar and cardiac markers

hope this helps you
please feel free to ask me a direct question for more assistance
wishing you good health
