How To Treat Lower Abdominal Pain?

Hi doctor, i am 22 years old. I am 26 weeks pregnant, and this is my first pregnancy.for the past two days i have a lower abdominal pain but it wasnt too bad and not continuous so i didnt care but today it is somehow bad and on my right side only, and it is continuous, so is there anything wrong or it is considered as braxton hicks contractions

Hi, I have gone though your question. Continuous lower abdominal pain at 26 weeks of pregnancy can be due to urinary tract infection, stretching of the ligaments or any cause unrelated to pregnancy. Braxton hicks contractions are intermittent, not continuous and are not painful.
I would suggest you to consult with your OBGYN specialist and get appropriate investigations get treated accordingly.
